So firstly, Mila is so grown up now. She continues to amaze me with how beautiful she is.
secondly, I remember you posting a while back about Mila losing weight and you guys not realising. It tugged at my heartstrings because Mally has always been thin so I could semi-relate.
Well now that she's nine months old, I'm really starting to notice just how tiny she is, and it's beginning to worry me.
Everybody tells be I'm being stupid and that babies grow at their own pace, but I thought maybe you, someone who has beenn through it, can give me any advice or insight?
Thank you so much for all the amazing comments! Mally is such a little ball of energy and I love seeing her personalities shine through your photos!
With the weight stuff…at first I was really upset for awhile..thinking I must of done something wrong…or that I wasn’t being a good parent…but after strangers and family members started making comments on how alert she is “for her age” and the amount of strength she has…I started to realize that her small size has nothing to do with her well being.
I know Mally is WAY ahead of the game already taking steps on her own and all…and even though Mila isn’t that advanced yet (although she’s trying ha) my doctor told me that her constant activity could play a big part in her small weight….but we do have to go to monthly weight checks just to make sure nothing is wrong with her thyroid.
You just have to keep looking at your child as an individual instead of a percentage (which I know I need to work better on as well) when it comes to unique situations like our. We have happy healthy beautiful little baby girls :)
