My two new favorite phrases that mila has been saying these days are, “Let me hold you!!” when she wants to be picked up and, “Momma let me cuddle you.” clearly, she’s a little confused with first person to second person transitions, and is more or less just coping what my husband and I say to her… But I like to imagine that she really thinks she comforting my husband and me.

Also, she’s been getting into princesses these days, and prefers to the only princess movie that she watches as “tootie and the beast”. With that, she demands to wear a dress or a really over sized shirt everyday, and once it’s on she’ll spin in circles and say’ “Imma priiiiiiinnnncess!”.

I may have a little actress on my hands as well, and not in the “omg she’s such a drama queen” kind of way. Mila really enjoys either acting out scenes that shes watched in movies (Ponyo has been the main one) or in books (where the wild things typically takes over most of the morning). She’ll add her own dialog and remembers the premiss of the story’s she’s acting out… It’s really remarkable to watch.
